Officers elected at today’s AGM were

President – Bill Eden

Treasurer – David Beattie

Committee Members – Paul Jupp and Bernie Stefan- Rasmus.

At the General update following the AGM, Members were informed of the donation by Carbatec of a Laguna Lathe and chuck and reminded that merchandise purchase as a Club order through Carbatec can save individuals 15%.

Doug Collins and his helpers, Bernie and Mark were thanked for the organisation of the wood section of the Port Elliot Show

Members who assisted with the set-up on Friday prior to the show, the gallery sales and demonstrations on the Saturday and Sunday and the pack up on Sunday, were also thanked.

Our next meeting will be on Saturday November the 2nd where Christmas decorations will be demonstrated.

Members were reminded that Member Declaration Forms need to be signed and returned to the Club after the USB has been read. Members are to keep the USB.

The Club has 2 non-variable speed lathes for sale for $300 each including a chuck for each lathe.
