We attended the 2-day Port Elliot Show on the 12th and 13th of October where we had a well-stocked sales table and demonstrators in woodturning, wood carving and whittling.

Two of our members won 3 prizes in the competition section. Wayne Dale won the woodturning section and second place in the woodcarving section, while Garry Goombs won second place in the woodturning section.

Some interest was generated by our demonstrations, and we are hoping for some new potential members at our next meeting.
