Members were asked to take a Member Declaration Form and a USB with all the induction information on it. Members were asked to look at the USB and sign the form and return it at the next meeting indicating they have seen the information on the USB.

Port Elliot Show is fast approaching, and members were reminded that volunteers are needed to set up on the Friday before the show and to demonstrate as well as work on the sales table over the 2 days of the Show and to also assist on the Sunday to dismantle and pack away. Friday the 11th of October the set up will begin at 9.30 with acceptance of sales items from 3.00 pm to 5.00 pm.

John Read was thanked for his generous donation of Huon Pine offcuts and surplice sandpaper. Both were eagerly snapped up by members.

John also has a drop saw he would like to sell and if anyone is interested, please speak with John or speak with Wayne, David or Bill.

Nomination forms for next month’s AGM were available at the meeting as well as the very necessary forms for the sales table at the PE show.

FWT are seeking a new person to look after the website and anyone at all interested is encouraged to speak with Bill
