August 24 Meeting

All were welcomed to the meeting and thanked for coming and providing the items on the Show and Tell table

The Port Elliot show was mentioned again with the Club running demonstrations, a sales table and the show competition.

The Club’s OH&S policies have been reviewed and USBs will be distributed at the next meeting with all policies and relevant information. Members will be asked to read the information and sign off as having read, at the October meeting.

Paul spoke about the workstation he has suggested for the club and how it will be trialed today during the spoon carving workshop.

We currently have 24 members with several others indicating they will be paying their dues at the next meeting.

Next meeting will be Own Project, and members were informed that help would be available if anyone has any issues, they need assistance with.

Doug followed with a brief but very informative demonstration on spoon carving, and many took up the challenge to participate, resulting in many useful spoons.
